[박찬욱] Director Park Chan-wook Wins Best Film at 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards

At the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards held on May 8th at COEX D Hall in Seoul, director Park Chan-wook’s film 'Ujjeolsuga Eopda' (Can't Help It) was honored with the Best Film award. In his acceptance speech, Park offered a witty remark, expressing his confidence in the fairness of the judging process. While Park was a top contender for the Best Director category alongside filmmaker Jang Hang-jun, the award was ultimately presented to director Yoon Ga-eun for her work 'Owner of the World'. Despite missing out on the directing accolade, Park displayed grace and sportsmanship, warmly applauding and cheering for Yoon during her moment on stage.
